DISCLOSURES

We test and review gardening and other outdoor products based on an independent, multi-point methodology. If you use or links to purchase something, we may earn a commission. Read our disclosures.

At Sweet New Earth, our mission is to give you information so you can make the best, most informed decision about which gardening equipment meets your needs. Our extensive team is constantly testing new products, writing reviews, updating content and exploring new opportunities to bring you the latest.

This policy applies where we are acting as a data controller with respect to the personal data of our website visitors and service users; in other words, where we determine the purposes and means of the processing of that personal data.

Even though this is our passion, it is still our job. It costs money to run Sweet New Earth so we can write articles, shoot video and stay connected through our social media communities.

In order to keep Sweet New Earth up and going, we have affiliate relationships with fitness product companies, which we will detail below.

HOW OUR AFFILIATE RELATIONSHIPS WORK

In short, we create referral links that direct you from Sweet New Earth to our partner sites. These links don’t cost you any money. Instead, they let our partners know that you came from our website. That, in turn, allows us to earn a commission for the sale.

We have an affiliate program–or relationship with third-party sites like Amazon–for nearly every product on our pages. The reason we tell you this is because we want to make you aware that this is how we make money. In some cases, companies may send us products to review for free.

All this said, we do not make any guarantees to these companies that we will conduct a review or that we will review the product favorably.

AMAZON.COM DISCLOSURE

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. This is designed to give sites like ours a way to earn advertising fees by linking to products on Amazon.com. If you click on an Amazon link from our site, then Amazon pays Sweet New Earth a percentage of the sale.
